Premium Leather Dog Collar Prestige Nero (Black)

The Prestige dog collar from William Walker is not just a collar - it is a true masterpiece of craftsmanship that sets new standards in terms of design and workmanship. It embodies the perfect balance of timeless style and uncompromising quality and is the true highlight of the William Walker collection.

The butter-soft cowhide leather specially produced for the Prestige collection is painstakingly hand-woven into an elegant braid. Combined with the padding on the inside of the collar, three layers of leather are used for this collar. A lightweight but robust microfiber insert is integrated for additional tensile strength. To protect the holes for adjusting the size, these are fitted with elegant eyelets. The fittings are made of solid, natural brass. An additional small D-ring allows a dog tag to be attached in style.

If you are looking for a dog collar that combines luxury, style and quality at the highest level, then the Prestige dog collar from William Walker is your first choice. It is the perfect accessory for dogs and their owners who love and appreciate something special. With this collar, you are making a statement - for you and your dog.

Material:

• Noble nappa leather
• Brass fittings

Cleaning: The leather products in the Prestige collection are surprisingly easy to care for. Dirt can be easily wiped off with a soft, damp cloth. Be careful not to use excessive moisture and gently dry the leather with a dry cloth after cleaning.

Care: To preserve the softness and longevity of the delicate nappa leather, we recommend regularly treating the leather with a high-quality leather balm. This care prevents the leather from drying out and maintains its supple texture. At the same time, contact with water, especially salt water, should be avoided. Direct sunlight and extreme heat should also be avoided to protect the leather from possible damage.

Precautionary measures: Despite its robustness, the Prestige collection is an example of delicate craftsmanship. Contact with rough surfaces should be avoided to prevent scratches or visual damage. Although these do not impair functionality, they can affect the flawless aesthetics of the leather.

With these simple but essential care measures, you can ensure that the exclusive products in the Prestige collection retain their luxurious appearance for years to come and give you and your dog pleasure for a long time to come.

To avoid unnecessary exchanges, it is important to measure the correct collar size accurately before placing your order. We offer you two simple methods:

Method 1 - Measuring with an already fitting collar

If you already have a collar that fits your dog well, you can measure the length of this collar. Measure from the beginning of the buckle (where the pin rests) to the hole that is currently used. Compare this value with the length specifications in our size chart and choose the appropriate size. Keep in mind that this method works best if the new and old collar have a similar thickness (see explanation below).

Method 2: Measuring the neck circumference

If you don’t have a suitable collar at hand, you can measure your dog's neck circumference directly. Take a measuring tape (or a thread that you can measure later with a ruler) and wrap it around the spot on your dog’s neck where the collar should sit. The measuring tape should fit snugly but not cut into the skin. Compare this value with the "Suitable Neck Circumference" specifications in our chart and choose the corresponding size. We have already accounted for 2-3 cm of leeway for a comfortable fit. If you prefer a particularly loose collar, you can mentally add another 1-2 cm.

Why do length and circumference differ? At first glance, measuring a collar may seem simple, but there is an important difference between the measured length of a collar and the actual resulting neck circumference. The difference arises from the thickness of the collar. If a collar measures 40 cm in a flat state, it does not automatically have a circumference of 40 cm when worn. This is because the thickness of the collar reduces the inner diameter of the circle when it lies on your dog’s neck. The thicker the collar, the greater this effect. For example, a collar with an 8 mm thickness reduces the inner diameter by that 8 mm, which results in approximately 2.5 cm less circumference based on Pythagorean calculations. Therefore, our Plain collar with a length of 38 cm - 44 cm fits only a neck circumference of 33 cm - 39 cm. This difference takes into account both the smaller inner diameter and the additional leeway for comfort.
